1. Quickstart & Installation

To install and publish the WayMart theme on your store:

1. Go to Online Store > Themes in your Shopify Admin.
2. In the Theme library section, click Add theme > Upload zip file.
3. Upload the waymart-v7-complete-optimized.zip file.
4. Once uploaded, click Actions > Publish to make it your live store theme.

2. Global Settings

Customize your overall store styling in Theme settings (bottom-left corner of the Theme Editor):

• Colors: Configure the primary brand accent (used for main call-to-actions) and secondary background colors. WayMart is optimized for vibrant, high-contrast combinations.
• Typography: The theme imports and uses modern Google Fonts (Inter and Outfit) natively to guarantee quick rendering and readability.
• Search Settings: Toggle the Predictive Search module to show search results, collections, and articles dynamically as merchants type.

3. Custom Sections Setup

A. Video Hero Banner

Renders an immersive full-screen autoplay video behind your promotional messaging:

• Upload a compressed background video (.mp4 format, ideally under 10MB) via Content > Files and copy the URL.
• Paste the URL into the section’s Video URL field.
• Set a fallback poster image. This image displays while the video is loading or on slower mobile connections.

B. Hero Grid (Editorial Collections)

Showcases up to 4 key departments (Beauty, Unique Gifts, Electronics, Fashion) in a staggered, masonry grid:

• Assign custom images and titles to each quadrant.
• Specify the link targets. If left blank, they dynamically resolve using standard localized collection routing rules.

C. Product Sliders (Back In Stock / Most Sold)

Configurable touch-friendly listing carousels:

• Collection Selection: Choose which collection feeds products into the slider (e.g., Best Sellers).
• Limits: Controls the total number of items loaded (recommend 8 to 12).
• Conversion Badges: The theme automatically overlays context badges (like "Sale" or "Last stock") to motivate shopper action.

4. Page Templates & Layouts

WayMart includes customized page templates ready to assign under Pages:

• Contact template: Loads a built-in contact form, interactive FAQs, mapping section, and responsive contact options.
• Customer Support template: Renders a dedicated portal featuring quick help-center links, return request links, and immediate phone/chat contact triggers.

5. Image & Performance Guidelines

To maintain high Google Lighthouse speed scores, ensure all uploaded assets match these specs:
